A Walk to Remember is such a book that never fails to be interesting, page-turner and a book you won’t soon forget. Sparks expose touching and sweet tale of young and spiritual Love story. He wants to show us that the best decision is “The ones that matter the most in our lives are best made by listening in our hearts”. The content of this novel is the discovery and presentation of the essence of sacred scripture which is the Bible. It is a spiritual story between Love, doctrine, power, influence and Miracles.
The first character was egocentric but learns the great deal about loving God, people around him, his family and Jamie. He finds miracle in life by changing his own heart. He was Landon Carter. The second character is Jamie Sullivan who believes of having a great Faith and knowing that all of the things that happen to her was the Lord’s plan. She’s struggling with her illness and her dream is to walk down the aisle, and married with a man that accepts and loves her. Her father Reverend Hegbert Sullivan was a minister pastor on their town, some adolescent teases and cursed him that he was a fornicator, but he was a good father to Jamie because he took care of his daughter after the death of his wife.
As time passed by, Landon fell in love with Jamie and waited for the Miracle to happen to save her from sickness but the only thing he can do is to believe in the power of Faith, trust and love. After they got married, she died. The day that they married was the most wonderful moment of Landon’s life.  He remembered that Miracles can happen and walking down the aisle with Jamie is the best A Walk to Remember.
It is a great novel that hooks and captivates your heart. Nicholas Sparks is a prolific writer that never fails to amaze me to enthrall my heart from the whole part of his story up to the adaptation of its movie. The story, plot and characters focused it the society, religion, doctrine, traditions, Miracles and spiritual love story of young and everlasting Love.
I learned from this novel that most of the times when you loved someone, you put your needs before your own. No matter how inconceivable those needs were. But true Love is not selfish, it does not boost, it is truth, patient and kind. True Love is the ultimate expression of the will to live that endures forever.
